There were plenty of excited smiles - coupled with a few nervous faces as well - as Loyola College commenced the 2024 academic year, welcoming 271 new students, spanning Years 7-12, into our College Community for the first time.

For our incoming Year 7 students, the shift to secondary education was met with support from peers and staff, spending the morning with our Senior students taking tours of the school grounds, learning their new timetables and de-coding all those important room locations!

There will be no shortage of opportunity for our Year 7s to immerse themselves in the wide range of opportunity that Loyola College has to offer - with House Eisteddfod, a Co-Curriculum Expo, ACS Sport try-outs, our annual House Swimming Carnival, auditions for our 2024 College Musical - 'Mamma Mia!' - and a whole lot more, taking place within the early weeks of Term One.

We extend a very warm Loyola welcome to these new students - and their families - and look forward to our shared journey together over the coming years, filled with learning, friendship, and achievement.
