Celebrating Excellence in 2024

On Friday, 6 December, Loyola College hosted its Annual Awards Evening, a highlight of the school calendar dedicated to recognising and celebrating student achievements across academic, co-curricular, and personal domains.

The evening was an inspiring showcase of excellence, highlighting the dedication and hard work of our students throughout the year. In addition to student awards, the event acknowledged the invaluable contributions of our school community groups, families, and business sponsors, whose support enables us to present scholarships and special awards.

The occasion was graced by guest speaker Kathryn Schuck (L: 98–03), who delivered an inspiring address. Kathryn shared her reflections on her time as a student at Loyola and the importance of not only striving for success but also embodying the qualities of a good person - values that resonate deeply with the Loyola community.

Special congratulations go to the recipients of the College’s highest accolades:

  • Loyola Medal – Mrs Judith Muir (L: 11-24)
  • Jesuit Medal – Mr Shaun Nolan
  • St Ignatius Medal – Elisha Folino (12/ADFE) (L: 19-24)
  • Insignis Award – Sean Adi Purnomo (12/AMJT) (L: 19-24)

These awards celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, character, and service, exemplifying the values of Loyola College.

The Annual Awards Evening was a fitting conclusion to the school year, bringing together students, staff, families, and community members in a celebration of achievement, generosity, and shared purpose. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this memorable event.
